Join hundreds of college students for our Fall Retreat, happening October 6th-8th! Fall retreat is an awesome opportunity to get away from the day-to-day and experience a weekend of pursuing God together. There will be engaging teachings, dynamic worship, small group times, and lots of time to connect & hang out.

Seeds of the Kingdom

This year’s Fall Retreat is about the coming of the kingdom of God and its humble, countercultural, perhaps confounding beginnings. Jesus is a different kind of king with a different kind of kingdom. When Jesus speaks of the kingdom he came to inaugurate, he sometimes used metaphors that involve a seed. We will explore the idea of seeds, the person of Jesus, the nature of the kingdom of God, and our part in it all.

How Much Is It?

The cost for the Fall Retreat includes lodging and meals for the duration of the retreat. You’ll be responsible for dinner on Friday night, as well as the cost of gas to travel there and back.

Where is Fall Retreat, and how will I get there?
FaHoLo Campground and Conference Center, 3000 Mount Hope Rd, Grass Lake, MI 49240

FaHoLo Campground is 30 minutes from Ypsi/Ann Arbor, and a about an hour and fifteen minutes from Detroit, depending on traffic. We will arrange rides and carpool together through Home Groups. If you don’t know what Home Group you are a part of, don’t worry! You’ll have a chance to indicate that on the registration form and we will find a spot for you! You will then get an email with carpool information the week of the retreat.

I'm ready to register!
(Deadline to register is Wednesday, October 4th at noon)

Registration is now closed, so that we can prepare well for the weekend. If you want to sign up late, please email jack.duiven@newlifea2.org

Questions & Answers

Here are some answers to common questions.

We don’t want finances to be a barrier for anyone who wants to come to Fall Retreat. If the cost feels like a barrier to you attending, we’d love for you to apply for a scholarship by filling out this form. We give a wide range of scholarships based on personal need.

Please bring: bedding (a sleeping bag or sheets), towel, toiletries, Bible, journal, water bottle, gas money for your driver, and anything you want to have for free time (cards, sports equipment, bluetooth speaker, etc).

The schedule is still being finalized, and will be announced later on. However, you can expect registration to begin late afternoon on Friday evening, with the first session beginning in the early evening. The retreat will wrap up on Sunday morning, and we will travel back in time for the 10:01am Service at New Life.

If you have additional questions about Fall Retreat, feel free to connect with your Home Group Leader. If you have specific questions about attending, you can email events@newlifea2.org
