FaHoLo Camp is about 30-40 minutes from Ann Arbor. If you need a ride please let us know on the registration form and we’ll arrange a carpool for you. You will get an email with more details the week before the retreat.
Join our city ministry (NLKids, Youth, Grad Students, Working Professionals, Families, and Retirees) for the City Retreat, taking place November 7th-8th! The City Retreat will be a great opportunity to get away from the day-to-day and experience a weekend of pursuing God together. There will be teachings, musical worship, small groups, time to connect & hang out, and childcare for children who are elementary age and below.
Where do you run when life feels overwhelming? What do you cling to when the world around you shakes? This year’s City Retreat theme is Refuge, drawn from Psalm 91:2: “This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him.” This year’s retreat is an invitation to step away from the demands of life and discover again what it means that in Christ, we are never without a safe place to rest.
We don’t want cost to be a barrier to anyone so you can also request a scholarship below. If you’d like to contribute to scholarships, you can do so on the giving page of our website by selecting "Retreat Scholarships" in the dropdown menu.

We don’t want finances to be a barrier for anyone who wants to come on the City Retreat. If the cost feels like a barrier to you and/or your family attending, we’d love for you to apply for a scholarship by emailing Joel VanderSchel (joel.vanderschel@newlifea2.org).
There are a variety of options at Faholo including a conference center that can accommodate couples, families, or smaller groups of men or women if they’d prefer to stay together (up to 6 people). These rooms come with their own bathrooms but the camp charges more for these rooms.
The dorm housing option is cheaper, but the rooms are bunk rooms and more people share a bathroom. Regardless of what housing option you choose, please bring warm clothing because we will all have to walk to various buildings for sessions, meals, free time activities, and lodging.
If you have additional questions about the City Retreat, feel free to connect with our City Director, Nik Spasovski (nik@newlifea2.org)
