Join our city ministry (NLKids, Youth, Grad Students, Working Professionals, Families, and Retirees) for the City Retreat, taking place November 13th-14th! The City Retreat is a great opportunity to get away from the day-to-day and experience a weekend of pursuing God together. There will be biblical teachings, refreshing worship, and meaningful connection & fellowship. There will be childcare provided during sessions and scholarships are available as well. What if what you’re chasing isn’t truly worth living for?

In 1 Timothy 6, Paul charges Timothy to “take hold of the life that is truly life.” There are so many things that compete for our attention and promise to give us life, but fall woefully short. This passage invites us to a deeper life in Christ, and at this year’s City Retreat we will explore what it means to take hold of true life.

How Much Is It?
The cost for the City Retreat includes lodging and meals for the duration of the retreat. You’ll be responsible for dinner on Friday night, as well as the cost of gas to travel there and back.

Where is the City Retreat, and how will I get there?
FaHoLo Conference & Retreat Center: 3000 Mt Hope Rd Grass Lake, MI

FaHoLo Camp is about 30-40 minutes from Ann Arbor. If you need a ride please let us know on the registration form and we’ll arrange a carpool for you. You will get an email with more details the week before the retreat.

We don’t want finances to be a barrier for anyone who wants to come on the City Retreat. If the cost feels like a barrier to you and/or your family attending, we’d love for you to apply for a scholarship by emailing Joel VanderSchel (joel.vanderschel@newlifea2.org).

We will all be staying at the Faholo conference center building that can accommodate couples, families, or smaller groups of men or women (up to 6 people). These rooms come with their own bathrooms and the camp charges more for providing linens in these rooms. The registration prices reflect this with the linen and non-linen options.
