Join our city ministry (NLKids, Youth, Grad Students, Working Professionals, Families, and Retirees) for the City Retreat, taking place November 15th-16th! The City Retreat will be a great opportunity to get away from the day-to-day and experience a weekend of pursuing God together. There will be teachings, musical worship, small group times, time to connect & hang out, and childcare for children who are elementary age and below.

Make Room

Do you ever wish you had more peace in your life? Does it feel like the time and energy to truly dwell in God's Word is hard to come by? Or perhaps the name of Jesus gets crowded out by the noise and demands of everyday life? You're not alone—many of us in the City feel the same way! That's why we're inviting you to join us for our City Retreat, where this year’s theme is "Make Room," taken from Colossians 3:15-17.

This retreat is an opportunity to pause, reflect, and make room for deeper relationships—both with God and with others. Together, we’ll reflect on how we can create more space in our hearts and minds for Jesus to bring us lasting peace, for His Word to dwell richly within us, and for every part of our lives to be centered on Him.

How Much Is It?

The cost for the City Retreat includes lodging and meals for the duration of the retreat. You’ll be responsible for dinner on Friday night, as well as the cost of gas to travel there and back.

Where is the City Retreat, and how will I get there?

Questions & Answers

Here are some answers to common questions.

We don’t want finances to be a barrier for anyone who wants to come on the City Retreat. If the cost feels like a barrier to you and/or your family attending, we’d love for you to apply for a scholarship by filling out this form. We give a wide range of scholarships based on individual/family needs.

We will all be staying in a lodge together. Housing will be in bunk rooms, with men together (including dads with sons), and then women together (including moms with daughters). Camping is also available on site upon request. Keep in mind, it will likely be quite cold outside at this point of the year.

If you have additional questions about the City Retreat, feel free to connect with our City Director, Nik Spasovski (nik@newlifea2.org)
