Just Like Jesus

Just Like Jesus is a 4-part Advent series delving into the words and teachings of Jesus as they relate to living justly. Justice is becoming an increasingly charged topic in the broader culture as it has come to mean many different things. Scripture doesn’t just call us to be just; it calls us to be just… like Jesus. During Advent, we celebrate the coming King who will one day establish His Kingdom in fullness. In the interim, we choose to live under His just reign in this fallen world. If we want to be just like Jesus, we need to redirect our eyes to see how He sees. We will look at two teachings of Jesus from Matthew and two teachings from Luke, and how Jesus challenges his followers to embody justice.
