Hello Church,

Regardless of whether we are connected to the University of Michigan or have kids in school, simply living in this area, we can feel a new school year approaching. In August, high schoolers have band camp or sports tryouts. College students will get their stuff out of storage or head to campus for the first time. And the rest of us notice that traffic and parking are different :) 

At New Life, we find August to be a great time to devote additional time to praying for the season of ministry ahead. Our staff team will be praying and fasting from 9am-4pm on August 13, 14, and 15. Wherever you are on those days, will you consider devoting additional time to pray as well? Please pray that God will deepen all our lifestyles of worship, community, and mission and that God will be greatly glorified this ministry year!
