Dear Church,

With the Fall fast approaching, many new faces are gracing the halls of our church. As we reconnect with friends who are returning from the various excursions of summer, let’s also have eyes for those of all ages who are walking through our doors for the first time. What would it look like for each of us to be hospitable in word and deed? What would it look like for us to be curious, attentive, and welcoming? What would it look like for us to go out of our way to help visitors make connections with others in our community or with a Home Group? You never know how the briefest of interactions may impact someone’s eternity. Thank you all for being so loving and generous and kind, a true picture of Jesus to those who draw near. It is a gift to serve alongside you.
