Hello Church,

We are one week away from what is the most popular season in the US. Fall (Autumn) officially begins Sunday, September 22 and with it comes one of the most impactful opportunities of the year - retreat!

A retreat is a time to pull away from the normal rhythms of life, spend extended time with the church family, and focus on our walks with God. When I was 19 years old I went on my first retreat and experienced God speak to me in ways that forever impacted the trajectory of my life.

Jeremiah 29:13-14a says, “You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart. I will be found by you.”

Matthew 7:7-8 says, “Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”

There is something special about seeking the Lord with one another. I don’t understand how it all works with God, His ways are indeed mysterious. Yet, time and time again we see people experience God in unique and powerful ways on retreat. I invite you to consider going on retreat with us this fall 2024.
