Hello Church,

This week, I invite you to lift your eyes in worship and raise your voice in prayer as two significant events unfold.

First, a parade of planets will grace the night sky (see image).

If the skies are clear, take a moment to join the Psalmist in worship:

“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge.

They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them.

Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.”

—Psalm 19:1-4a (NIV)

Second, our Spring Break trips begin at the end of the week.

I invite you to pray for those going—that they would experience adventure, beauty, courage, dependence, enthusiasm, fun, and above all, grace.

“He is before all things (including Spring Break trips), and in Him all things hold together (every planet and star).”

—Colossians 1:17 (NIV)

Will you join in praising Him and praying this week?

In awe of our awesome God,

Jay Bennett, on Behalf of the Elder and Minister Team
