Church planting is our passion. Over the next few bulletins, we’ll highlight the churches we’ve started. This week, Pastor Erik Weber shares an update on New Life Ypsilanti. Stay tuned to see how God is moving through our church family!
This fall was an exciting season for us! We partnered with Cru & University Christian Fellowship to welcome students with pancakes, games, and great conversations. Sand volleyball and lawn games helped us connect with new students, setting the stage for deeper engagement.
At EagleFest, we saw a major shift. Last year, post-COVID hesitation made outreach difficult, yielding just 26 survey responses. This year, with a packed indoor event, students eagerly engaged. We collected 257 surveys, with 150 students expressing spiritual interest—many actively looking for a church or ministry! Clearly, God was at work.
Since then, we've hosted bonfires, spontaneous gatherings, Sunday services, and Bible studies. Participation has grown 20% over last year, and in January, we witnessed something amazing—a student gave her life to Christ after asking deep questions at a Sunday service! That same week, three students were baptized during our Sunday gathering, marking a powerful moment for our church.
We are so grateful for what God is doing. Thank you for your continued prayers and support!
