Hello Church,
Summer is here and I am happy. I love summer… the sun comes up early and goes down late… the air is warm and “outside” is once again hospitable. It’s the best!
Summer is also growing season. It won’t be long before the “corn cart” is out in Saline. The local farmers sell their fresh produce right in town and it is so good.
Over the next few weeks, in our worship services, we’ll be exploring growing season too. As we look at the Fruit of the Spirit more, I’m curious what God wants to show us about how His Spirit interacts with us. His Spirit fosters the growth of fruit like you would in a garden. Gardens are peaceful and can be places where tender nurturing can lead to a bountiful harvest of good things, and that’s what God wants for us.
Excited about the fruit to come,
