Hello Church,

We have made it to October, school is in full motion now, life feels busy, and Christmas is essentially next week.

At this point in the fall I begin to hear stories of things that God is doing in people’s lives. It’s all very encouraging and it often causes me to reflect a bit. I reflect on the fact that it’s quite remarkable that we witness God supernaturally working all around us and we have gotten to see this happen more than once.

I also am reminded of God’s faithfulness. Over time, I have a track record of God completing so many “things” in and around my life. That is humbling. It also is a bit convicting because, even with the evidence I have gathered to God’s faithfulness in my 51 years, I still find myself often wondering if God will come through for me. His timing has really rarely been how I would time it out, but His faithfulness is undeniable.

As we make our way towards the end of the year take moments to reflect on how God has been faithful to you too. I think you’ll be compelled to worship a God that is personal and involved.
