Hello Church!

Welp it has snowed… It’s official… I am resigned to summer being gone and daylight being on short supply. I’ll be candid, I’m not a fan of the lack of sunshine… I’ve stated this before. Sun is good and darkness is sad.

Although… darkness does offer more opportunities to view the moon… I do like the moon.

I often find myself staring at the moon and considering the vastness of the heavens. The heavens declare the glory of the Lord and I like to spend time considering that.

One of the things I consider often is that “we” are always learning more about the heavens. Telescopes continue to look deeper and deeper into outer space. The pictures they send back are jaw dropping. I enjoy looking at these pictures and I picture God smiling and saying, “Oh, look at them go… they’re impressed now… just wait for what they’ll see next."

So there ya have it… the ability to view the heavens for a bit longer period of time, a redeeming quality of the the shorter daylight hours.

May God continue to reveal Himself to us as we enjoy His creation,
