Dear New Life,
As we close out 2025, I've been sparing a few moments to think about "ending well." I'm trying to decide what that means. What first comes to mind are all the "tasks" I need to finish for my job. Then come all the "tasks" I need to finish for home/family and Christmas events. I do want to be faithful to my commitments and to support my family and loved ones well, but I wonder which of these things I'll care about years from now.
What does it look like to end well with regard to the things that God cares about? Or with regard to how He's made me?
This is the paragraph where I should tell you the answer. I'm willing, but I don't know it. What I do know is that I'm asking God these questions and I invite you to do the same. Perhaps our gracious God will speak to us if we give him some time to listen?
