Dear New Life,
As we progress toward Easter, I've been thinking about how the change of seasons still catches me off guard after all these years. It reminds me that even though we can predict some things (like the fact that Spring is coming and Easter is coming), God also predictably surprises us all the time, too.
Some of you may love surprises, but I tend to prefer to know what's coming. That's why, perhaps my main personal growth focus over the last five years has been learning to yield to what God has for me today.
When I'm facing an increasingly complicated and unpredictable world, I find that I take greater and greater comfort in the simple truths about God. He is good. He loves me. He's with me. He has a plan for today.
So no matter what you face today, may these simple truths bring you great comfort.
