Dear Church,
Campus Spring Break is here, and a wave of our students has officially reached the Destin shoreline. Sometimes I feel more ministry happens in the lives of these students in one week than does throughout the whole year. It’s not about the beach or the teaching. It’s about intentional time with God and people. That’s it. Meals together. Cleaning up together. Having fun together. Reading the word, praying, and worshiping together. It’s about life together with God and people. Church, we don’t have to go to Florida to pursue that. What if this spring, we were intentional about inviting one another over to dinner? What if we made a point of reaching beyond small talk to wondering about how God is getting our attention? What if we asked each other regularly, “What steps of faith are you engaged in right now?” Life on life discipleship isn’t a vacation; it’s a vocation. Who are you living life with this week?
