Hello Church,
In celebration of MLK day, we shared a number of ways to engage with the day via email last week (1/12/22). I encourage you to take time today to engage with one or more of the resources and events we shared. I also invite you to pray Ephesians 2:14-22 over our church as we, “are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.” God created us all, loves us all, and in Jesus has brought us all together.
Finally, we are in the middle of Mission Weeks where we are inviting everyone to answer the question, “How are you living sent?” One way to answer this question and lean into living it out is through the Live Sent tool. Grab one at the info center next time you are at Sunday service or print one off here. By writing down the names of 9 people you gain focus (3 to get to know, 3 to serve, and 3 to share), committing to praying regularly for them keeps prayer as your posture, and asking God to help you take these steps towards these people fosters intentionality. May this tool help us pray daily, serve often, and share faithfully who Jesus is, what He has done, and how He is impacting your life.
Remember, [Jesus] died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them.
2 Corinthians 5:15 NLT
