Hi New Life,

Yesterday we began a new season together as a church: the Next Gen Campaign. At its heart, this campaign is about entrusting the gospel to the next generation, just as others once entrusted it to us. Caring for our buildings is one concrete way God is inviting us to do that. If you weren’t with us, you can catch up by watching the service on YouTube or visiting newlifea2.org/campaign.

Over the next three weeks, I’d invite you to set aside some time to pray and ask the Lord what it might look like for you to give generously and joyfully. There’s no pressure to have it all figured out right away. This is a season of listening together. If you didn’t get a campaign brochure yesterday, pick one up this Sunday. It’s a helpful guide as you pray about your part.

If you have questions or would just like to talk it through, we’d love for you to join us for a Next Gen Campaign Conversation on Sunday, November 1, from 11:30am to 1:00pm at Frieze. We’ll have snacks, and childcare is available on request. Please RSVP here.

Then on November 8, Baptism Sunday, we’ll offer our commitments to the Lord together. It’s fitting that we’ll celebrate new life in Christ on the same day we commit to passing the gospel on to the generations to come.

I’m grateful for you, and I’m excited to see what God will do in and through us.
