Hello Church Family,

I was reading John 21 this past week and I felt stirred by the Spirit when I read about when Jesus appeared to the disciples after his resurrection and calls out to the disciples who are fishing and asks, “Friends, haven’t you any fish?” The disciples say no, and then verse 6 says,

"[Jesus] said, 'Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.' When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish."

We’re in the middle of our Entrust series, about entrusting and multiplying our faith into the next generation of Christ followers and we’ve also recently launched our Next Gen Campaign. The goal of which is to see God raise $1 million dollars to take care of our two properties in the heart of Ann Arbor for generations to come. Jesus simply tells his disciples to fish on the other side of their boat and he has the power to completely fill their nets. Let’s ask and believe God to move powerfully as well! Not just in this campaign, but also to see God bless our church with a tremendous amount of fruit in ministry. We saw at least 3 people come to faith at the fall retreat, we’re experiencing greater spiritual interest this fall launch, and we’ve already seen multiple home groups in the campus and our city ministries multiply. Can you sense it? God is on the move! Let’s keep believing him for great things and full nets!
