Hello New Life,
With graduation season upon us we want to thank and bless you seniors and graduate students who have lived life with our local church these past few years.
Graduates, thank you for investing in your relationship with Jesus, your relationship with other Jesus followers, and loving as Jesus loved during your college years. Jesus said, “I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” We pray that you have and will continue to experience abundant life in Jesus as you remain in the gospel and live the lifestyles of worship, community, and mission.
For those of you staying in the Ann Arbor area, we’d love to continue walking with you as New Life is a church for all ages. For those moving to new areas, we encourage you to prioritize finding a new local church. For all, the Holy Spirit lives in you, you have spiritual gifting, academic wisdom, and natural talents that God has used and will continue using to serve, strengthen, and build up His church. It matters that you’ve been here, graduates. It matters where you’ll be next. God’s Kingdom is vast and His local church abounds. Wherever Jesus leads you, keep hearing and obeying with others. As you transition, may we send you with a blessing from the book of Hebrews…
Now may the God of peace — who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, and ratified an eternal covenant with his blood — may he equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him. All glory to him forever and ever! Amen. (Hebrews 13:20-21)
Congratulations graduates on finishing this chapter well. All of New Life is cheering you on in your next adventure of following Jesus.
Grace & Peace,
Jay Bennett, on Behalf of the Elder and Minister Team
