Greetings, Church,

As we continue in our Harvest Series, remember that we are God’s field (1 Cor. 3:9). It’s worth looking around and asking: “Am I firmly planted in the love of God?” “Am I being watered regularly by the grace and truth of the gospel?” “Is the word of God being applied to all the circumstances of my life such that each one — like fertilizer — contributes to the growth of Christlike character in me?”

Spiritual interest and openness to the gospel is all around us, and we have the privilege of sharing Jesus with others. But the greatest indicator of whether or not we will share the gospel isn’t how skilled we are or how hardworking we are or even how much we know about the Bible. The greatest indicator of whether or not we will share the gospel with others is the genuineness of our own intimacy with Jesus.

A lifestyle of Mission will always flow downstream from a lifestyle of Worship. If we would see a new harvest of others deciding to follow Jesus, we must send our own roots deeper into His love, so that we may taste of the life we would genuinely offer to others. May His love fill you to overflowing until all people know the hope we have in Jesus.

He is risen,

Kyle Chase, on Behalf of the Elder and Minister Team
