"He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us." (Romans 8:32-34)

Hello, New Life! This verse reminds me of two things that can steal our joy and rob us of the full life that Christ gives us. The first is feeling condemned by who we are or what we have done. The other is fear that we will not have what we need. Maybe one of these two liars is shouting particularly loudly at you today. My hope is that this passage helps you to remain in the Gospel!

How amazing it is that Jesus, the one who died for you and me, is right now standing with the Father advocating for us about whatever is attempting to condemn us right now. How amazing it is that our heavenly Father desires to give us whatever we need. He demonstrated that by not withholding that which was most precious to Him. May you live into these truths of the Gospel more and more this week!

God Bless,
