Hello Church,

Good news, God came to be among us! This is a big deal. 

As we recognize and celebrate the birth of Jesus we have the chance to consider all this again.  None of us have ever been alive when we didn’t have the chance to know that the Messiah has come and His name is Jesus. This too is a big deal.

Christmas, and the traditions that surround it, can become very familiar. It’s important to keep in mind, as we gather with family and friends, all that it means that Jesus came. Jesus, God with us, is an amazing gift. In light of that, gratitude should mark all our Christmas gatherings.

I hope you all enjoy all that the traditions of Christmas add to our lives; that is a gift too.
