Church Planting Vision Trip

At New Life, "Church Planting is our passion." We want to be a mother church, not a mega-church. In this way, we see the Kingdom of God spread to new people and places, and we continuously fan the flames of our own faith.

Towards this end, NLC staff members and anyone interested in exploring church planting are invited to a Church Planting Vision Trip happening Friday, October 10 - Monday, October 13 (UM Fall Break weekend). We will be visiting New Life's 2018 church plant, H2O Kalamazoo. The trip will include time for prayer, conversation, and exploring the city of Kalamazoo, and all transportation, lodging, and food costs will be provided!

Here is our rough itinerary, although all of it is subject to change depending on the size of our group.

Carpools depart from Ann Arbor: Friday @ 4PM

Carpools return to Ann Arbor: Monday @ 1PM

FRIDAY

4:00 PM - 6 PM Travel to Kzoo, settle into lodging

6:00 PM – 9:00 PM Dinner & Weekend Overview Meeting

SATURDAY

9:00 AM – 11:30 AM Morning together / prayer walk/evangelism on Western MI campus

12:00 PM – 1:00 PM Lunch

1:00 PM – 3:30 PM Meet with H2O Kzoo church leader(s) and help serve at Bronco tailgate

3:30 PM – 5:00 PM Break

5:00 PM – 6:30 PM Dinner

7:00 PM – 9:00 PM Hangout in Kzoo with Local Church staff

SUNDAY

9:00 AM – 11:30 AM Attend and help serve at H2O Kzoo Sunday Service

12:00 PM – 1:00 PM Lunch

1:00 PM – 5:00 PM Solo afternoon spent in exploration, prayer, etc.

5:00 PM – 6:30 PM Dinner

7:00 PM – 9:00 PM Outing TBD to experience Kalamazoo

MONDAY

8:00AM - Breakfast

9:00AM - Debrief and prayer as a trip. Books of Acts.

11:30 AM - Depart and travel back to Ann Arbor
