Parenting Resources

Whether you are caring for a newborn, guiding an elementary student, navigating middle school, or preparing a high schooler for adulthood, we’d love to support your discipleship journey as you disciple your family.

New Life Church offers support, community, and resources for every parenting phase, from early childhood through high school.

Infants, Toddlers & Elementary

We want families with young children to feel supported as they participate in church life and equipped as they disciple their children at home.

New Life Kids

Our New Life Kids Ministry provides age-appropriate teaching and care during services.

Visit our New Life Kids Ministry page to learn more.

Community for Parents

Homegroups

These groups create space for parents to build friendships and walk alongside others in a similar season.

Playgroup

We also host a bi-weekly New Life Playgroup for children 5th grade and under and their parents/guardians. Email City@newlifea2.org for details.

NLC Community Support Networks

Our church GroupMe and email lists allow members to share needs and support one another.  Families frequently use these networks to:

  • Share children’s clothing and furniture
  • Post babysitting or nanny job opportunities
  • Request prayer

Email City@newlifea2.org to learn how to be added.

Additional Support for Early Childhood Families

We aim to welcome babies and toddlers with the same open arms Jesus showed children.

  • New Life Kids provides childcare for infants and age-appropriate teaching for toddlers during Sunday morning services.
  • A gated, quiet family room with a live stream is also available during services.
  • Childcare (ages 5 and under) is available for many whole-church events.
  • A separate nursing room in the women’s bathroom (second floor)
  • High chairs are available for church meals.

Home groups with young families often:

  • Maintain baby-friendly environments
  • Offer free childcare when possible
  • Have lower expectations for content engagement
  • Coordinate meal trains for families welcoming a new child

Middle & High School

Our New Life Youth Ministry serves students in 6th–12th grade with teaching, fellowship, and discipleship opportunities.

Visit our New Life Youth Ministry page.

High school students are also welcome to participate in our AIM (Men’s Ministry) and Thrive (Women’s Ministry).
