Singleness Resources

We desire to be a church where singles can thrive, experience great community, and the love God has for them. Below are resources to help you connect, grow, and receive support.

Community & Spiritual Growth

Home Groups & Discipleship Groups

Our groups are one of the primary ways we build meaningful relationships and grow in faith together. Most home groups include a mix of single and married individuals, and provide prayer, encouragement, and spaces to build community.

Thrive (Women’s Ministry) & AIM (Men’s Ministry)

Intergenerational connection through our men’s and women’s ministries provides opportunities for mentoring, encouragement, and relationships across life stages.

City Events & Classes

Throughout the year, we host fellowship gatherings such as:

  • Summer Socials
  • City Summer Break Trip
  • Fall City Retreat
  • New Life’s Christmas Concert

Care & Support Resources

Meeting with an Elder or Minister

Our elders and ministers are happy to meet with you and offer spiritual guidance, encouragement, and prayer. To set up a meeting, email the Elder & Minister Team at EMT@newlifea2.org.

LGBTQ+ Education and Care Team

While holding a traditional view of marriage, we aspire to care well for our LGBTQ+ community.  Email lgbtqect@newlifea2.org to get connected.

Family & Parenting Resources

We recognize that singleness intersects with many family dynamics - whether as a sibling, aunt/uncle, friend, parent, foster parent, or caregiver.

Help for Hard Seasons

Hard seasons are a part of life, but they can be especially hard to navigate as a single person. Visit our Help for Hard Seasons page to view support resources for grief, addiction recovery, financial crisis, divorce care, caregiver support, and more.

Community Support Networks

Our church GroupMe and email networks allow members to share needs, prayer requests, and practical support.  Participants have used these networks to: request prayer, ask for airport rides, seek help during moves, share needs and praises.
Email City@newlifea2.org to learn about being added.

Additional Resources

The following ministries and programs have been helpful to members of our church community. New Life Church does not have any oversight of these programs, but lists them here as additional resources to explore.

RightNow Media Support Resources

A digital library of Bible studies, teaching series, and life resources that address a variety of seasons and questions.
